Vaultumi is a private photo, video and document vault for iPhone and iPad. It encrypts everything on the device, unlocks with a PIN, an optional Face ID and a recovery code, and has no account, no developer cloud, no analytics and no advertising.

Who publishes Vaultumi?

The publisher is Vaultumi (individual developer), as stated in the privacy policy. The app and this website are published under the name Vaultumi, and the contact address is support@vaultumi.com. Replies come within 3 business days, and security reports are acknowledged within 72 hours.

What is Vaultumi built to do?

  • Encrypt every photo and video on the iPhone before it is stored, each under its own key.
  • Work without an account, a server or any third-party code. The app makes no network requests of its own. Only Apple's App Store is involved, for purchases.
  • Never delete anything because of wrong PIN attempts, and never lock or remove your media if Premium ends. Export, backup, restore and recovery are never behind a purchase.
  • Say plainly where its protection stops. The security page lists what it cannot protect against.

Is it independently audited?

No. Vaultumi has not been independently reviewed, audited or certified, and its hand-written scrypt and secret-sharing code still need external review. How is Vaultumi funded?

By optional purchases inside the app. The free plan holds up to 20 items and 2 albums. Premium adds more room and more features, as an auto-renewing yearly or monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, with prices shown in the App Store. There is no advertising, and the app collects no data. See the privacy policy.

What is its status?

Vaultumi runs on iOS 17 and later, on iPhone and iPad, in English. The App Store listing is not live yet; this site will link to it when it is.
